NEArea of the Christian Church (DOC)

Welcome to the website for the Northeast Area of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) of Mid-America.  We are here to effectively reach and serve our congregations (ninety-two in northeastern Missouri) so they can effectively reach and serve our communities (those within and beyond our church doors).

Use the links above and below to find out more about the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), the NE Area, and our congregations.  You can download Camp forms or an application for Ministerial Licensing and renewal.  Our calendar is updated regularly, as are other links: so check back regularly as we continue to live into being a resource for, and link to, our congregations.

Joplin Support

Thank you for your support of the Joplin churches in this time of great need. At this point we're asking our churches and church leaders to heed our Regional Minister's advice: Pray, Pay, and Stay.

  • Pray: Pray for the victims as well as the emergency crews.
  • Pay: Please make donations through the Week Of Compassion website or through the Ozark Lakes Area
  • Stay: Stay where you are until plans for receiving and utilizing volunteers can be put in place.
