NE Area Spring Road Shows and Coachings Hit the Road!
Whom have you invited to come to the first Spring Road Shows!?! These events are part of the NE Area’s continuing commitment to effectively reach and serve our congregations so you can effectively reach and serve our communities.
Please register with Leslie in the Area Office (573.442.5815 or office(at)nearea.org) by the Tuesday before the Road Show you plan to attend.
What: Practical training for you and others in the church (this includes clergy and lay persons). There will be opportunities to worship together, fellowship at lunch, and learn information in the workshop setting.
Coaching: An opportunity to explore with the Area Minister, the topics of “What it Means to be and Effective Congregation” and “How Can We be an Effective Congregation?”
Workshops: The Disciples of Christ– This workshop will give background on who we are as a denomination.
Sharing Your Faith– This workshop will offer different ways we can share our faith in non-threatening ways.
Pastor Care– Provides ways that we as congregations can be a part of caring for our pastor.
Cost: $5 (plus a love-offering for Lunch)

DWM/CWF Spring Assembly
Plan to attend this year's NE Area DWM/CWF Spring Assembly. This year's title is "Three Cups of Tea: A Pray and Play Day for Women." It is going to be a wonderful way that Disciples women will gather to pray, play, and learn together.
When: Saturday, April 26, 2008, 10am-2:00pm
Where: Columbia First Christian Church, 101 North Tenth Street, Columbia, MO
Cost: $12 (includes lunch) payable at the door
